Looking for strong abs? Then the hanging leg raise is a must do! This street workout is especially good for the lower abs. It’s also a good preparation for more advanced exercises like the front lever or the human flag.
The hanging knee raise is an easier variant to start with if you feel like the leg raise is still to difficult.
- Start hanging on a bar with your arms and body straight to the ground.
- Now raise your legs in a 90 degree position, while keeping your legs straight, so don’t bent your knees!
- Use your abs to raise your legs further up. (Bring your knees closer to your chest)
- Hold this position for 1 second and slowly return to the starting position with your legs hanging below your body.
